Approval Date 8/16/24 1. Center sessions twice a week, up to 30 minutes per subject, so 1 hour for Math and Reading. 2. Prescribed and individualized sets to complete AT HOME as well, with a time frame of up to 30 minutes per subject. 3. We also offer the choice of completing work via a web-based version now, called Kumon Connect which doesn't require pencil and paper. Same in-person sessions given twice a week, but work is done on a tablet, so more convenient and the ability to be more remote. 4. $165/month per subject, and a one-time $75 registration fee. Middle schoolers pay $10 more monthly, and Highschoolers $20 more monthly. 5. The Kumon Method in a nutshell: - Individualized lesson plans, and a time-tested curriculum (since 1954!) that provides a linear, smooth and frustration-free building of solid math and reading foundation, and mastery of the basics. - Similar to building technical dribbling skills in soccer of basketball, or musical scales in piano or any instrument (Kumon is parallel to the popular Suzuki method for violin!), or pull-ups and v-ups in gymnastics! Kumon builds strength, fluency and automaticity in the basics so everything else comes easier. - Anyone can do it! We have had children of all ranges and abilities who can succeed and best of all, re-gain their belief in themselves.
