Why we built Vendvera

Hi, I’m Scott. We’re a homeschooling family in San Diego, and like a lot of California families, our charter school gives us funds to spend on our kids’ learning: art classes, sports lessons, tutoring and learning support, curriculum and more.

There’s one catch. The money can only go to vendors on the charter’s approved list. Those lists are often long spreadsheets, every charter keeps its own, and none of them tell you what you really want to know. Is this art studio any good? Does this coach work well with younger kids? Has another family actually used them?

So we built the place we wished existed. Vendvera brings California charters’ approved vendor lists together in one search. You can find vendors by subject, city and charter, see which charters approve them, and read what other homeschool families say about them.

For families: find the right fit faster, then help the next family. When you confirm a vendor you’ve used or leave a review, it shows up for every family searching after you.

For vendors: families are already looking for you. Claim your free listing to keep your details right and share your page with the families you serve.

Who we are: Vendvera is built by our family, paid for by us, and independent of every charter. We’re homeschool parents first, and we’re building this for families like ours.
