These terms are an agreement between you and Vendvera. By using this site, you agree to them. We have tried to write them in plain language. The plain-language version is the binding one.

What Vendvera is (and is not)

Vendvera collects California homeschool charter schools’ published approved-vendor lists into one searchable place. Every listing names the charter(s) it came from and the date we last checked that charter’s list.

Vendvera is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any charter school or vendor. We are an independent directory. Listing a vendor here is not an endorsement of that vendor by us or by any charter, and it is not a promise that any charter will approve or fund a purchase.

Accuracy: no warranty

Charter approved-vendor lists change, and there is always some time between our checks. Everything on this site is provided “as is,” with no warranty of any kind, including no warranty that a listing is accurate, complete, or current, and no warranty about any vendor’s quality or availability.

Always check a vendor’s current approval status with your own charter before making a purchase or enrolling. Your charter’s own list is the authority; this site is a starting point, not the final word.

Reviews, confirmations, and other contributions

Signed-in visitors can write vendor reviews and confirm vendors they have used; anyone can submit a vendor request or report a problem with a listing. For anything you submit:

• You keep ownership of what you write. You give Vendvera a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, moderate, and share it as part of running the site.
• Write only what is true and firsthand. Reviews should reflect your family’s real experience with the vendor. No harassment, defamation, spam, advertising, or personal information about other people.
• Reviews are reserved for families. If you manage a vendor’s listing, you may not review that listing.
• We moderate. We may hide, remove, or decline to publish any submission at any time, at our discretion, with or without notice. We are not obligated to publish anything.

Vendor claims

If you claim a vendor listing, you are telling us that you are authorized to represent that business. We may ask for proof, and we may remove a claim at any time if we believe it was made in error or bad faith. A claimed listing shows that the vendor manages it; it does not change our independence or imply any endorsement.

Accounts

Signing in uses a link or code sent to your email. There are no passwords. Keep your email account secure; anyone with access to your email can sign in as you. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the site or break these terms.

Acceptable use

Don’t interfere with the site’s operation, misrepresent who you are, or use automated tools in ways that burden the service or circumvent its protections.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vendvera is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including decisions made in reliance on listing information. The site is free to use; to the extent any liability exists despite the above, it is capped at one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; when we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may discontinue any part of the site at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts located in California.
