We provide 3 different type of Classes - 1. A full immersion conversational Spanish class 2. An introduction to Art and Science class in English and 3. a cooking class bilingual. All our classes are reggio inspired, play-based, and use an emergent curriculum. We use song, books, conversation, inquiry based play, and open ended structured activities to introduce, explore, and practice Spanish. Our classes introduce both linguistic and artistic vocabulary, giving them an engaging hands on, live, and practical use of the language. An example of an open ended structured activity would be exploring the clay to ceramic process. Introduction of raw clay and it's changing makeup when combined with air vs water. Learning different techniques such as slab, coil, and pinch pot. Cooking it to see its makeup and texture change, once again, glazing it and exploring color mixing, and having a finished ceramic to proudly share about at the end of the process/class.
