Unclaimed listing: created from charter-published data
The Writer's Workshop for Kids offers creative, non-sectarian online writing classes for grades K-8 that inspire kids to write from the heart. The 'live' writing classes are standards-based, and students develop writing skills while having fun along the way. I offer weekday writing classes for homeschoolers, after-school, and summer writing camps. Classes are delivered via Zoom and Google Classroom, and students receive personal, positive feedback from me. The assignments foster a variety of writing skills, and class themes are kid-centered, including: Harry Potter, Wings of Fire, Poetry, Fantasy, Pirate Adventure, Dog Man, Mysteries, Biography, Reader's Theater, Historical Fiction, and much more. Classes for grades 6-8 include rigorous instruction in how to write a research paper and short story literary analysis.
